Nebraska has many wonderful state parks and recreational areas for families to enjoy. Each year the Foundation looks for new opportunities to support our state park system and other tourism efforts in Nebraska.

Projects supported by the Foundation include:
  • Green Cabins Project at Ponca State Park
Believed to be the first of its kind project in America, Ponca Sate Park features new, environmentally-friendly cabins made from recycled materials. These unique cabins provide an enjoyable and educational experience.

  • Scottsbluff Ranch
The Foundation provided funds to replace valuable artifacts destroyed by vandals.

  • Lake Cunningham and Ponca State Park
New fishing piers and wheelchair accessible walkways were built to allow anglers of all ages the ability to enjoy the great outdoors.

  • Branched Oak State Park
Several campsites and picnic areas were modified to accommodate wheelchairs.

  • Nebraska Travel Conference
The Foundation supports this conference that provides a wealth of information to businesses and organizations associated with Nebraska's tourism industry.

If you are interested in supporting our travel and tourism efforts, we greatly appreciate your tax-deductible contribution. Please click here for more information.
